Help dogs scheduled to be killed at a laboratory!

Behind closed doors at an Indiana laboratory, Inotiv, terrified puppies are enduring daily force-feedings of a potentially toxic drug. Thirty-two of these pups were scheduled to be killed in mid-May. Inotiv refuses to tell us if these puppies were killed as planned, but we continue to hold out hope that they survived. The other 48 puppies are still being made to endure these cruel tests and are scheduled to be killed in November. Another two “stock” dogs have been repeatedly used in painful “practice” procedures and could be killed at any time. Gut-wrenching footage of the agony these dogs are enduring was captured by our undercover investigator, who spent over six months at Inotiv documenting the unfathomable cruelty of life—and death—for dogs and other animals at the laboratory.

Inotiv is paid by companies to carry out animal experiments for them. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals has commissioned Inotiv to intentionally poison puppies daily with various doses of a drug in an attempt to determine if the doses are toxic in humans. Some of the puppies are being force-fed the drug for a total of 39 weeks (nearly 10 months), the rest were dosed for 16 weeks (approximately four months).

But these tests are deeply flawed. According to multiple sources, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, around 90% of drugs fail in human trials. It is estimated that half of these failures are due to unexpected toxic effects in humans that were not detected in animal tests.
