Stand with us to end research and tests on dogs
Dogs being used in experiments is more common than most people would think. On average, over 58,000 dogs per year are used for research and testing in the United States, with an additional 20,000+ being held in breeding facilities. What’s worse, 660 dogs a year (on average over the past decade) are subject to experiments involving unrelieved pain and distress.
This is not a small problem. Experiments using dogs are happening in 46 states. The federal government plays a role by funding, requiring and/or carrying out these experiments. For instance, between 2015 and 2019, the National Institutes of Health awarded over $202 million in taxpayer money to 200 laboratories for experiments using dogs. We need your help to end this.
Please stand with us and call on state and federal governments to end research and testing on dogs and invest in science that doesn’t cause animal suffering.
