Shocking cruelty happening in malls

Our latest undercover investigation of SeaQuest, a multi-state chain of shopping mall wildlife petting zoos, has revealed horrific cruelty at multiple locations. Our investigator witnessed hungry animals begging for food, stressed animals terrified by public handling and animals condemned to live in filthy, roach-infested conditions, among other disturbing discoveries. Worst of all, staff informed our investigator that a customer kicked and killed a parakeet—one of two birds killed from public interactions during our investigation. Please help us stop this cruelty by urging the malls that house SeaQuest not to renew their contracts!

Take Action

The terrible conditions in these horrendous places are making animals sick. Our investigator saw numerous animals suffering from infections, parasites, injuries or other health conditions. Some demonstrated behaviors related to immense psychological stress. Animals attacked one another and paced in circles with little enrichment or ways to engage in natural behaviors. No mall should renew a contract with a roach-infested petting zoo that treats animals this way. Urge malls not to renew their contracts with SeaQuest!
